Setting goals for myself has been one of the hardest parts of my weight loss journey, I lack motivation and find getting into a routine extremely hard since I work as a casual waitress and have no set hours and work long hours mostly during the evening so I have a pretty messed up sleeping pattern.

In this post I want to help to set goals and to stay motivated, it is hard for everyone during any kind of personal journey whether it be weight loss or simply just wanting to be happier with your life.

When starting a weight loss journey it is important to set yourself up for success by creating realistic and achievable goals. Your foals should follow the SMART goals, they should be Specific, Measured, Achievable, Realistic and Time manageable.

Your goals should have a meaning and purpose to you, for example in weight loss this could be wanting to improve your health, wanting to feel good about yourself or even to start a family.

when stetting your goals think about why you want to achieve that goal and how you will achieve it.
