It is officially the end of week one on restarting my weight loss journey, it’s been a good week full of healthy eating and daily walks whilst balancing my work and social life with my new ambitions.
I have mostly been eating salads, stir fry and smoothie bowls and have lost 4 lbs this week! I am not following any set plan such as weight watchers or slimming world, I am following an eat less move more motto.
I’ve also noticed some changes such as my skin breaking out badly due to detoxing my system, I have more energy and I have been sleeping better – something that I highly struggle with and my goal for week 2 is to start waking up at 5 am as I start breakfast shifts at 6 am and I want to aim to get at least 8 hours of sleep per night.
Sunday was my cheat day where I allow my self to indulge in something completely off plan. I started the day with a smoothie bowl then went to do the weekly food shop, I then had a Mediterranean vegetable pizza as my cheat meal for lunch and a story fry for dinner. It’s important to allow yourself to have some treats the odd time as we all like to indulge.
That is the end for week one and I plan to continue with this in week 2 and my goals for the week are to get into a better routine, have a better sleeping pattern, exercise more and to drink more water.
