Get Your Glow On, Fake Tans To Take You Into Summer ☀️

We are all ready to be bronzed goddesses for the summer and to have a healthy glow all year round could never be easier with today’s range of fake tanning products that won’t damage your skin as much as basking in the sun! 

Before fake tanning it is essential to prep your skin by ensuring that it is clean, exfoliated and moisturised to achieve a streak free glow. 

My favourite exfoliater for the body is Boots  extracts mango body scrub which smells amazing and leaves your skin silky smooth. 

Pro tip: you can always make your own exfoliated with granulated sugar, coconut oil and you could add mango in the blender or your favourite essential oils. 

You will also need the right tools for applying your tan, I’ve been using primark’s velvet tanning mit and velvotan’s hard to reach applicator. 

1. Freshly Baked London Watermelon Dark Tanning Foam 

This tan has now become one of my favourites and I will be using it to build up my tan over the coming weeks before heading to Florida for a year. It’s watermelon scent is amazing and it’s easy to apply. 

2.  Bonds Sands Dark Tanning Lotion 

I have been all about bondisands tanning before the hype, it is my absolute favourite and smells divine with its coconut scent. 

It’s a no streaks tanning lotion that is best left on over night to develop your colour and it is then ready to be washed off.   

3. Dove Visible Glow Medium - Dark 

This little beauty is a great daily moisturiser that can be used daily to help your tan last longer or for gradually developing a tan over time.  

I use this little bottle of magic on a daily basis when I’ve applied tan to add a shimmer to my skin and to keep my skin hydrated and smooth. You can pick it up quite cheap in Home Bargains.
