What I Eat in a Day to Lose Weight

I’m always asked what I Eat and what I do to Lose Weight, I’m able to lose weight quickly just by completely changing my lifestyle, my problem is sticking to the healthier lifestyle long term. 

The only supplements I take are daily vitamins, iron tablets (anemic) and the odd protein shake as I know I do not get enough protein through my diet. 

Breakfast

I don’t tend to eat a lot in the mornings, I never have and as a child I never got breakfast because my parents don’t eat it and we’re always in a rush to go to work. 

For breakfast I would usually have a berry or green smoothie every morning. 

I buy the frozen fruit packs from Tesco that are separated into individual serving sizes, add a little agave and some coconut milk. For berry smoothies I also add cacao for the chocolate taste and for the extra iron and minerals.  

Lunch

For lunch I just like to have something light but more filling than breakfast. In summer I tend to have salads as my main lunch. 

My salad would consist of squashetti, mixed leafed salad, baby plum tomatoes, peppadew peppers with cream cheese and chicken.   

Dinner

For dinner I will either have turkey, chicken or prawns. On this day I had prawn skewers marinated in Nando’s lemon and herb marinade with kale crisps, baby plum tomatoes and some roasted baby potatoes. 

Drinks & Snacks

Currently my favourite drink is sparkling water with strawberry and kiwi dilute, I find sparkling water more refreshing in the warmer weather but do not like it on its own. 

I also need to have a daily coffee to keep my energy levels up throughout the day, recently I’ve been having black cold brew instead of my usual mocha. 

For a snack I have been loving strawberries with white chocolate protella from Lidl or chocolate nice cream.
